I do not even know where to start!! This has been the MOST amazing hair service I have received in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! I went in for a one layered braid (i.e cornrows). I just showed LaVonda a picture and she DELIVERRTT! My favorite part of the appointment was getting my hair washed by her. It was an indescribable experience. It felt as if I was in hair heaven. The hair wash touched my spirit. It was a deliverance session from all the hate my hair has received. My hair has NEVER received so much love like it did on this day. This woman put a hot towel on my hair and massage it the heck out of my scalp.. I will just leave that there. When it came to the braiding part, I am tender headed and my hair is really short, so I was expecting some form of pain. I kid you not when I say I felt no form of pain whatsoever. I didn't grunt, I didn't squint/or munch my face throughout the entire procedure. She was so gentle. It was hair romance. This is hair love. Mind you, I am writing this lengthy review all from the first impression. You know what they say about first impressions. This woman is gifted, she is anointed for hair. If you are a woman in Tulsa especially a black woman and you NEVER sat in her chair, then baby girl you are missing out!!
